Item Description

Select cluster of lustrous, stepped octahedrons of Hausmannite from the famous Wessels Mine. The octahedrons, the largest of which is an impressive 2 cm on edge, have shiny faces composed of dozens of stepped triangles - attractive and classic for the species. The back side of the specimen is contacted and ringed by micro Andradites. The color contrast is very appealing, and the overall aesthetics and balance of the specimen is very good. An excellent fully-sized miniature, better in person. Valued $500-800
