Spots of gorgeous, gemmy, sapphire blue colored Hauyne can be seen covering all sides of this classic specimen from the San Vito Quarry, near Mt Vesuvius. A very attractive example of this well known material. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7262). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
