Item Description

A 2.4 cm, classic ultramarine blue lazurite crystal is jauntily set atop the contrasting marble matrix from the famous Type Locality. The sharp dodecahedron is moderatly lustrous. Lazurite is a variety of hauyne, a member of the Sodalite Group. Complete all-around. One bruised corner and a lightly bruised edge are noted, but this remains a showy and highly representative example of this sought-after, classic species. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
