An OLD-TIME, CLASSIC heliodor beryl specimen from the historic pegmatites at Topsham, Maine, The 6.7 cm, hexagonal, lustrous, translucent, pastel-green beryl crystal is attached to quartz matrix. Both ends of the beryl are contacted, but this is typical for these old-timers. Certainly around 100 years old and HIGHLY REPRESENTATIVE of the species and classic locale. These do not come on the market very often and are highly prized! Ex Dennis Mullane Collection and comes with a faded, handwritten label.
