Dramatic and shocking trio of heliodor (golden-yellow beryl) atop aquamerine from the Erongo Mountains! Thick zones, 7 mm to 1.2 cm, of heliodor with frosted faces rest on the grayish-blue aquamarine bodies with typically crackly interiors and frosted faces. The transition from the terminated heliodor sections to the aquamarine is razor sharp and remarkable. Amazing and most unusual. The crystals GLOW, when backlit! Two of the heliodor terminations are absolutely water-clear looking down the C-axis, with the other being frosted. A bit of termination edgewear is noted, but is a very modest detraction, overall. A most fascinating and rare beryl suite of unusual nature from a small one-time find. Fairly valued at $500-700. Ex Charlie Key dealer stock. 37 grams total mass.
