Hematite from Nador in Morocco, at its best, is world class. This is no exception to that comment, with a brilliantly lustrous crystal measuring just under 5 cm tall, perfectly balanced on matrix. The video speaks for itself! The thing is magical, like a machined sculpture. It is nearly perfect, complete all around save a few tiny contacts (we do not think damage per se), where it might have grown against something else. It is so brilliantly metallic, like a mirror: it is unlike most hematites and looks more like aluminum foil. While singles are common, you rarely saw any clusters or matrix specimens! From the Pohl number, this is old material, prior to the 1990s.
