Item Description

A classic specimen of the world-famous Hematites from the N'Chwaning II Mine. These are some of the finest crystallized Hematites from any locality hands down. This piece hosts a pair of incredibly sharp, very lustrous, bright silvery colored metallic blocky crystals of Hematite measuring up to 1.7 cm sitting on a layer of hundred of small crystallized nearly black colored Hematites with a light "dusting" of white Calcite(?) on matrix. The two main Hematites are incredibly well-formed with superb, distinct crystal faces and look better in person than the photos might indicate. No real damage except for the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. This one looks MUCH better in person, it's incredibly difficult to accurately portray in photos. Valued at $800.
