Item Description

This is the first specimen of this material that we've ever had to offer. Dozens of bronze to golden-brown colored, slightly iridescent botryoidal Hematite "balls" measuring up to 4 mm sit atop host rock matrix. Excellent condition all around, and a very atypical Hematite regardless of locality. If you collect Hematites or minerals of Germany, this is a really cool esoteric piece that would make a great addition to your collection. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#3739). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
