Item Description

Unquestionably one of the most interesting and attractive hematite combination pieces I have seen from this famous Kalahari manganese fields. Leading the way are two distinctive, highly unusual tabular Hematites that have superb luster and an incredible habit. These triangular crystals are about .6 cm in height as they tower about a Manganite matrix and fine Rhodochrosite coating. At the opposite end of the specimen is a cluster of four gemmy and lustrous Ettringite cystals that have excellent luster, very good lemon yellow color, and good form. The largest of these terminated crystals is .8 cm in length.
