Item Description
Some of the finest examples of crystallized Hematite in the world are those from the famous Wessels Mine in South Africa. This attractive miniature sized specimen features a few notably sharp, incredibly lustrous (splendent), dark metallic steel-grey colored, striated scalenohedral crystals of Hematite measuring up to 1.8 cm with additional micro Hematite on minor matrix. The piece is in good shape, though there are a few tough spots here and there. A lovely overall specimen of these superb Hematites.
