Item Description
A striking, very attractive CABINET calcite specimen from Santa Eulalia, Mexico. Sharp, blocky, translucent, "wet-look" calcite rhombs have striking, clay-stained, internal, hematite inclusions. The large crystal is 3.8 cm and crystals rest on a bed of earlier, small calcites. The crystal isolation on this sculptural older specimen is very noteworthy. This excellent and aesthetic, older piece is pristine and is from the Consie Prince Collection and displays well from either side! Classic Santa Eulalia calcite.
