Hematite included Quartz

Quartz is the most mineral-inclusion friendly gem out there. Brazil has probably produced more Quartz gems included with other minerals than any other gem producing country. This "Flat Marquise Cabochon" cut stone is essentially colorless, but the most interesting aspect of the stone is the fact that it has bright little inclusion of reddish-roange Hematite. A lovely inculsion gem from one of the most prolific gem producing countries in the world.
