Hematite ps. after Marcasite (Whitmore Coll.)

Item Description

An extremely fine, lustrous, richly burnished brown, bladed, stellate hematite after marcasite floater specimen from the White Desert of Egypt. The spearpoint-like blades are much more isolated on this piece. This outstanding pseudomorph is complete all-around and pristine floater. A facinating crystal form with all of the radiating spearpoints! These came out a number of years ago, with none since. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
