Hematite-tinted Calcite (Fernandez Buelga Coll.)

Item Description

Beautiful and sharp, hematite-tinted, dogtooth calcite crystals majestically rise up from the massive calcite matrix covered with smaller caclite dogteeth on this very showy specimen from the Moscona Mine of Spain. The large calcite is 4.3 cm. The crystals are very lustrous and nicely translucent. The three, large crystals are pristine and the modest periphery wear is certainly not a detraction on this excellent piece. Ex Fernandez Buelga Collection.
