Really cute small cabinet quartz from this well-known Connecticut Traprock quarry. This aesthetic two-sided pincushion plate is covered with two genertions of quartz crystals - upright pretty hematite-coated and included quartz crystals and angled colorless crystals. Very interesting chemistry and fluid flow here. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. It hard to see the one broken crystal in the interior and the bit of periphery wear is certainy acceptable in the context of this specimen. Choice and excellent quartz from an East Coast collection. This very showy piece has 360-degree visual appeal.
