Hematite with Andradite Garnet

A wonderful association specimen featuring a stacked/layered, very lustrous, sharp, metallic, silver colored Hematite crystal with sparkling Andradite Garnet on both sides plus minor white Calcite on the back. The piece is in very good shape, and the Hematite crystal is undamaged, save one tiny corner where it's contacted. The color of the Andradite ranges from a rich reddish hue to a soft pastel orange color. Great quality, and a very worthwhile display piece of this classic material. Outside of the Kalahari Manganese Field, you almost never see Hematite with red Garnet like this. Priced at $950 in the iventory.
