Item Description

A lovely "spray" of sharp, prismatic Hemimorphite crystals that actually show fairly good luster, despite a yellow coating / inclusions of iron to create a much more colorful specimen than we're used to seeing from Santa Eulalia. The piece is aesthetic sitting on minor gossan matrix, and it's almost completely damage free on the display side, though there are a few contacts on the back. The crystals just GLOW with color when backlit! Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5743). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
