Item Description

A FINE quality, very lustrous, pearly, gemmy peach colored Heulandite crystal group sits atop blue-gray colored Chalcedony with a "sword"-shaped Stilbite crystal on basalt matrix from the famous locality at Jalgaon. The piece is in great shape overall and the quality of the Heulandite is excellent. The Heulandite group measures 5.6 cm across as its longest dimension. Indian Zeolites may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant! Ex Charlie Key personal collection. Charlie is arguably the most sucessful dealer of the second half of the 20th century, along with being the namesake for TWO mineral species (Keyite and Ludlockite).
