Heulandite with Prehnite on Quartz (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

This Trap Rock locality is one of the most impressive (and under appreciated) localities in the world. This quarry has produced some amazing specimens in the last 100 years. This specimen features a pearly, very lustrous, white colored group of Heulandite measuring 2.2 cm across with minor yellow-green "balls" of Prehnite sitting on sparkling Quartz crystals on minor matrix. The Heulandite crystals are extremely attractive with excellent luster and good form. You don't see many specimens of this material on the market these days, especially since the quarry is finished and will never produce these specimens again.
