Item Description

Superb sprays of nearly all terminated, iridescent mahogany hubnerite lathes form an outstanding and aesthetic two-sided specimen from San Juan County, Colorado. The bit of quartz is a fine contrast. Probably from the famous Adams Mine in the Eureka District or a mine in the Animas District. This is certainly one of the finest Colorado hubnerites we have seen. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 5715. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record). A MUST for the Colorado or species collector.
