Item Description

An aesthetic and sculptural solid 3-sided specimen of parallel-growth mahogany-colored blades of hubnerite with very high metallic luster. The terminations on the top tier blades and the cute sidecar are pristine. The small and exctinct Adams Mine of Colorado has produced some of the finest and certainly most recognized US hubnerites. The specimens from this mine are classics known for decades among collectors and dealers, and certainly a must have for any collection of minerals from the United States or specifically Colorado. A very fine and rich old Colorado classic from the Ted Bartels Collection.
