Item Description

Some of the most well-known Hübnerite specimens from any locality in the United States are the classic examples from the famous old Adams Mine in Colorado. This locality is essentially only known for these specimens, which were mined decades ago, but they are still among the best and most popular for the species from all of Colorado. This small cabinet specimen features groups of beautiful, sharp, lustrous, deep reddish-brown tabular striated crystals of Hübnerite measuring up to 2.3 cm, sitting atop Quartz matrix. Specimens such as this are not readily available these days. For the quality, size and overall displayability, it is certainly a good example of this well known material.
