Dramatic and classic hubnerite and quartz from the famous mines at Pasto Bueno. A sculptural parallel-growth cluster of lustrous, metallic hubnerite blades is dramticallly set on the back of a stunning, stout 7.3 cm quartz crystal with a sharp gem termination. Smaller second generation quartz crystals projecting perpendicular from the sides of the hubnerite blades are super accessories. The contacted back shows the blades reach a large 8.8 cm. Visible blades on the front and sides are up to 4.0 cm long. Amazingly, for all the myriad of variably-sized blades, there are very few broken crystals. You know this is an outstanding display quality combination classic, as it was formerly in the collection of prominent top-flight collector Dr. Steve Neely. Valued at $1000-1250.
