Hubnerite with Quartz (mined by Rich Kosnar)

Item Description

For those who don't know, Richard Kosnar mined the Sweet Home for a few years during the late 1970's and managed to collect some excellent specimens. This piece is from one of the first pockets that Rich opened when he started mining the Sweet Home. Hubnerite is not terribly common in my experience from the Sweet Home. This specimen features a few, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, blood-red Hubnerite with minor Quartz. This piece was collected in 1977 out of a very small pocket that only produced a handful of these specimens.
