huge Cavansite cluster, on Stilbite

A large 3.3 x 2.9 cm, striking and impressive compound bladed "ball" of gorgeous, neon-blue, translucent, cavansite blades is dramatically set on the undulating 3-dimensional basalt matrix covered with tiny sparkly, translucent stilbite blades. For such a shocking size, it is miraculously intact except only for a tiny bit of bruising at the bottom of the ball - certainly acceptable in the context of this very fine combination with a large cavansite. This would be $3000-3500, if for sale today from an Indian dealer! Old material, though, from an old collection... and so it is a relative bargain at auction. You CANNOT get such large cavansite "balls" anymore, not from contemporary finds! The blue color saturation is MUCH MORE vivid in person!
