A huge, doubly-terminated, floater ruby crystal from India! We have seen bigger, I admit, but rarely do you get them in such good condition as a specimen. Also, this color is intense and highly valued for carving, whereas some is rather pale. It has fine hexagonal form and classic pigeon-blood-red color. Not gem quality, but still unbelievable that here in your hand is a huge ruby (and plenty is destroyed to make very valuable carvings of animals and deities. Complete all-around and pristine.
