Huge Quartz included with Ajoite (New Find)

Ajoite is a very rare copper-related silicate. Pretty, powder-blue ajoite includes many of the quartz crystals on this striking and dramatic, very sculptural, LARGE CABINET specimen, that is studded with porcupine-like quartz needles. A few scattered broken crystals are noted, but have virtually no overall impact on the stunning overall size and quality of this specimen. This super piece is from a recent, sudden find from the famous Messina Mine of South Africa after many years of drought, source of the very best ajoite-included quartz crystals. In person, much more appealing, I think, do to the size and 3-dimensionality
