Item Description
Hulsite is a very rare complex iron borate. It is very rare from this famed old mining region of the Czech Republic. Both sides of the matrix wedge are covered with sparkly tiny sub-metallic hulsite microcrystals along with sphalerite, magnetite and ludwigite. The specimen has been X-rayed for species confirmation. Combination specimens with this rarity are extremely rare from this locale. Ex. Josef Vajdak Collection, a noted Czech specialist. Almost nothing on the market for this!
