Item Description

Mineral specimens from this less well-known phosphate-rich pegmatite are seldom on the market, as the small find occurred in 1977-78 (Mineralogical Record, V. 10, No. 3, May-June, 1979). These are some of the finest hureaulites extent. Gemmy, lustrous, rose-pink prismatic crystals to 1.0 cm line several vugs in the matrix. The matrix also includes the rare phosphates, barbosalite - massive dark blue and rockbridgeite, black and mica. Rare, rich and excellent combination material in this quality from the Bob Trimingham Collection.
