Item Description
Superb, sculptural Hyalite Opal that is nothing like I have seen before. The Opal stalks are clearly growths, rising from the Opal base for over 3.5 cm in several cases. It is fabulous and quite substantial. These remind me of the evaporite growths seen along the shores of the Dead Sea, and that resemblance may not be a coincidence. As always, the fluoresence of the Hyalite Opal is vivid, to say the least. This may be the finest Hyalite Opal specimen I have seen. Aesthetics and form!
