Hydrozincite

Item Description

A gorgeous cabinet display specimen of botryoidal off-white colored aggregates of fine quality Hydrozincite from China. The exact locality of this material is under debate. I originally purchased it as being from "Wenshan", but I cannot find a report of it in any book or database from this area. I found a couple of pieces listed as Dali Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, so that's what I'm going with for now. The quality is really superb as these are not only well-formed groups with excellent arrangement, shape and notable separation between the "balls". It's such an eye-catching display specimen of a species that is almost never seen in cabinet sized pieces. This is a good one, don't miss out!
