Item Description

Striking, elongated, mammillary, hydrozincite aggregates cover the top of this showy mounded specimen of essentially solid hydrzoincite. The variable oxide tinting adds much character to the snow-white mineral. Material from this mine is very seldom on the market. Ex Sorbonne Museum Collection and probably dates from the 1950 to early 1970s.
