Item Description

Absolutely limpid and beautiful, light mint-green, fluorite cubes make up a striking, mounded specimen from recent finds in China. The largest cube is 3.9 cm. Most of the cubes have sharp edges with a few etched edges and amazing color-zoning in their interiors. Rotating the piece and looking into the crystals is surreal. Some crystal faces are water-clear, while others have a preferential light frosting. The well-placed clusters of glassy calcite rhombs add a dramatic touch. This striking front is pristine and the contacting on the back, base and one side are out of sight and have little impact on the overall fine aspect of the piece. This is contemporary classic material of excellent quality. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON! Valued at $750. Ex Larry Krause collection
