Dalnegorsk is renowned for its great mineral specimens, with Ilvaite being one of its world-class species. This fine combination features excellent, lustrous, and partly-gemmy dipyramidal Quartz crystals, up to 2.2 cm, set across the matrix. Dancing below them are numerous, small, complex crystals of Ilvaite. The Ilvaites, which range up to 7 mm, have the superb luster complementing their jet-black color that you always hope to see. This is an interesting and quality small-cabinet combination piece, and it is even better in person.
