Item Description

Ilvaite is a classic species from the famous skarn deposits of Serifos Island, along with world-famous green quartz prases and andradite garnet specimens. Five pristine, sharply terminated, lustrous mahogany-brown prisms are aesthetically clustered on the quartz matrix. The large crystal is 2.2 cm. A very fine 360-degree example of the species and locale from the Marty Zinn Collection # 2139.
