Imperial topaz from Ouro Preto, Brazil is a "Holy Grail" topaz varietal, most collectors look for. This classic, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, complete all-around, striated crystal has beautiful, golden-orange color and excellent luster and fire. This beauty has trivial internal crazing and is facet quality. Nearly pristine, the very trivial edgewear is barely noticeable to this stunning crystal. 23.29 carats or over 4.5 grams. Valued at $400-500. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON! We found this set-aside lot in the move, and I had bought it years ago in a large deal. I cannot replace them today for prices they go for here.
