Item Description
This is a SUPERB, world class crystal of Inderite, showing sharp form and minimal alteration into chalky tincalconite so often seen in this material. This piece was part of a small lot purchased from collector Ed Swoboda, in 1983, and it is a display-quality, dramatic single crystal with well-developed prism faces and a broad and perfect termination. Excellent and among the "best of species" for this borate mineral. These are rarely seen on the market, today. Ex. Al Ordway, and certainly collected in the 1960s or 1970s by him and his good friend, Jim Minette.. Valued $1000-1250
