This stone has very attractive color. Indicolite Tourmaline gems are often a very dark blue color (most appear so dark they look black), buut this gem has a beautiful blue color that can be seen without any strong backlighting. This "Pear Cabochon" cut stone is slightly included, which is acceptable for Tourmaline, as inclusions are almost always present. A nice color Tourmaline from one of the most prolific gem producing countries extant.
