Item Description

From the find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. This is a very nice specimen from the most famous tourmaline locality in Pakistan. Primary production was in the 1980s and indicolites, such as this were never commnon. The upper indicolite zone is very gemmy and is a pretty blue. The termination is lightly frosted and etched. The basal section of the highly lustrous, well-striated crystal is black schorl. Complete all-around and pristine and nicely complimented by the ball of bladed cleavelandite. These pieces are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market. Choice material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
