Gemmy, "invisible", water-clear, cubic fluorite crystals to 1.4 cm a beautifully isolated on the L-shaped matrix on this very aesthetic specimen from the very famous Nikolaevskiy Mine at Dalnegorsk. All four of the fluorite cubes are pristine and the frosted calcite rhombs are a nifty accent. Discrete fluorite crystals, such as this, are rare and desirable. Common in the 1990s, these are hard to fine today in good specimens. These are considered contemporary classics. This piece displays well in several orientations. Ex Sam Cooper Collection.
