Item Description

Excellent specimen of lustrous, gemmy Muscovite richly coated with attractive and undamaged groups of hexagonal, tabular, brownish bronze Iowaite. In fact, the Iowaite, which averages about 2 mm each crystal, is translucent to gemmy, especially along the edges. There, they glow a beautiful golden amber, and their luster is very good. A fine example of a quite rare oxide. Old piece, from the early 1990s
