Item Description
Two extremely rare, sculptural specimens of irghisite (meteor impact glass) from Kazakhstan. The very light weight, amorphous glass is opaque. Ex Howard Belsky Collection and according to his label, these pieces were collected in 1985. Howard started as a mineral dealer at age 13 in 1972, became a sophisticated dealer and died tragically at age 28 in 1987. His collection recently became available to us through his family.
