Item Description

Classic, old-time and excellent combination material from a very obscure locality in the Kansas portion of the famous Tri-State District. Sharp, splendent, galena cubes to 1.5 cm are aesthetically set on both sides of the sculptural matrix. This fine piece becomes exceptional due the beautiful iridescence on the galena cubes, which are accentuated by the nifty fortification features. The rich, preferential sprinkling of brassy marcasite crystals (mostly on the cubes) and very gemmy, tiny rubyjack sphalerite crystals (mostly on the matrix) really adds character to this very showy combination old-timer from the George Feist Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
