Striking iridescent goethite with a rainbow of color coats a well-placed aesthetic jumble of sharp elongated cerussite crystals on this impressive, excellent and rich ore specimen from this well-known large open pit Pb-Zn-Fe mine. The crystals reach 1.3 cm. Specimens of this richness and quality are very uncommon from here. Choice material from the Raul Sanabria Collection. His label says anglesite, but the MINDAT photos suggest this is cerussite.
