Item Description

The world's finest examples of Jeremejevite, a rare gem borate with the hardness of 7, easily come from two localities in the Erongo Region of Namibia. This beautiful, colorful and gemmy thumbnail comes from 2010s finds at Ameib Farm 60. The glassy, lustrous, terminated gem crystal has a near colorless upper half, above the beautiful intense blue color, resembling dark aquamarine, lower half. The bruised edge has minimal impact to the overall excellent quality of this thumbnail from the Charlie Key Collectioin. Crystals of this size and quality typically sell for $400-600.
