Kammererite is the rare, chrome-rich variety of clinochlore. There is nothing that quite matches the vivid purple-red hue of kammererite as found in a series of remarkable pockets some 20 years ago at the top locality, the Kop Krom Mine in Turkey. This excellent specimen features beautifully gemmy crystals to 5 mm aesthetically and centrally clustered on a matrix plate COVERED with kammererite microcrystals! Valued at $700-900.
