Kammererite is the rare, chrome-rich variety of clinochlore. There is nothing that quite matches the vivid purple-red hue of kammererite as found in a series of remarkable pockets some 20 years ago at the top locality, the Kop Krom Mine in Turkey. This excellent specimen features beautifully gemmy crystals to 5 mm aesthetically set on the top edge of a matrix plate COVERED with kammererite microcrystals! Valued at $400-500.
