Item Description

A wonderful piece of the super rare nickel arsenide Krutovite, which is only found in less than a dozen lcoalities in the world! The type locality for the species is Potucky, which is right next to Svornost in the Jachymov District in Bohemia. Pale grey Krutovite can see on a few sides of the specimen, the light yellow mineral is unidentified, though it could just be Dickite clay. This is one of the few pieces of this species that we've had to offer and comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals. You can read Joe's biography here: http://www.minrec.org/labels.asp?colid=1371 A label from Dr. Jan Hlousek is included with the specimen as well. Do not miss out on this one if you collect rare minerals or hard to find European material!
