Item Description

A wonderfully DOUBLY-TERMINATED floater crystal of gemmy pink/purple/lilac Kunzite from Afghanistan. The form is fairly typical in my experience, with that classic "Roman sword" shape on each end. You rarely see such well terminated Kunzite crystals from any locality, let alone crystals that are so well crystallized all the way around. This one is not etched or "rough" on the exterior. It's fairly gemmy, and has a soft colorer when viewed on the "a" axis, but when viewed down the "c" axis, one can see a stronger purplish-pink hue. The thicker end of the crystal has a pseudo-scepter appearance as there is a slight overgrowth beyond the limits of the prism face where there was some interrupted growth and recrystallized. Good crystallized Kunzites are only found in a few places on earth. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock, and priced at $2500.
