Item Description

This locality is probably best known for its Starolite and Kyanite specimen. This particular specimen features a sharp and gemmy 3.4 cm, blue Kyanite crystal sitting on the side of Muscovite schist on this CLASSIC Swiss specimen from a famous locality. A highly representative piece for the species and locality. The back of the specimen has some minor associated Starolite crystals. The Kyanite crystal has good color compared to most I have seen from Pizzo Forno.
